The Ring Rail Line train runs directly from the airport to Helsinki Central Station in about 30 minutes, departing every 10 minutes and costing €4.10 — the fastest, most reliable, and cheapest option by far.

Helsinki-Vantaa is Finnair's main hub and a key connection point for Europe–Asia routes via the polar route — clean, efficient, and considerably less chaotic than most European hub airports of its size.

🌅In summer, catch the midnight sun from the terrace at SKY bar on top of Hotel Torni (Yrjönkatu 26) — Helsinki's oldest skyscraper, open to non-guests, and the best vantage point in the city at midnight when the sky is still pale gold.
