How Miles & More Works
- 1Earn Award Miles (redeemable) and Status Miles (for tier qualification) on every eligible flight.
- 2Distance-based earning: miles depend on route distance × fare class multiplier. Economy Light earns only 25% — avoid it on long-haul.
- 3Tiers: Member → Frequent Traveller (35,000 Status Miles/year) → Senator (100,000) → HON Circle (600,000).
- 4Award Miles expire 36 months from earning if no qualifying Lufthansa Group flight is taken in the period.
- 5Star Alliance membership enables earning and redemption across 40 airlines including United, ANA and Singapore.
